Can you take a regular photo and photoshop it to a 2 d format? I thought that could be done.

Gimp its free (comparable to Photoshop) There are also a good number of basic tutorials

Most people have no clue about Open Source Software. lol...

GIMP is a really good tool, it can't do everything Photoshop can, but it is an advanced picture editing program.

Spicolli, looks like they want money only for the " how to build a website" tutorial, not for the actual photoshop style program that looks like a free download for the gimp 2.6.7. version. -P-

Gimp is a free program. I have been using it for about 6 months. I like it better than Photoshop.
