OK, got the Knock registered in NH. Here are the complicated and time consuming instructions for registering your Hardknock Bobber in the granite state:
Step 1. Bring MSO to your local town hall.
Step 2. Hand MSO to town clerk, and do not say anything even resembling "kit" "custom" "home built" etc... "I am here to register this motorcycle" smile...
Step 3. Wait while town clerk has to make several calls to the RMV regarding: VIN (non-compliant,) Manufacturer unknown... etc. Try not to look too stupid at this point...
Step 4. Take registration and shiny new plate and walk out the door...
The title will be mailed to you directly.

Actually, I took the paperwork to my town hall. I am now waiting (with my fingers crossed) to receive the title. When the clerk was filling out the paperwork, she had to call the RMV because of the VIN #, she was told to enter "non-compliant" and that was it. If you've ever been to NH, there are some rickety looking "kustom" bikes, cars etc...

As far as I know, I am legally registered. I assumed that I would need a title to get registered. Selling the bike will be a problem, state kept my MSO!
