Hey, don't feel bad. When I installed the engine, I saw that the negative battery cable was in the same location your regulator wires were. I just cut the wire & re-soldered it.

A few months back I cut the wrong wire. Well, 900 wires. About 214 T1 circuits and a few hundred plain old telephone lines. POTS lines as we call em. The company was so happy they gave me 2 days off.

I have done that more than once in my life. Sometimes you think of the small thing and then sometimes you DONT think of the MOST COMMON!
