its possible that it would have if i had put the spark plug back in. the light is idiot proof. it has a 2 pin plug that it plugs into. after reading some other posts i also noticed that the headlight and tail light do not come on when the key is turned on. they only come on when it is cranking.

I had a blown fuse that didnt appear to be blown. After going through the whole bike I went back to the fuse and realized that the solder holding the filament in place was broken and the fused looked good as new. Try switching it out even if it looks good. The fuse should be upgraded any way. Good luck!

i tested the wire and it had power on both sides of the fuse. I cant get the pictures to load. should any of the wires for the kill/start switch have power? should the yellow/green off of the solenoid have keyed power?

Are you sure the battery isnt dead. I killed mine pretty easily when I first got my 200. I kept trying to start it not realizing that you don't have to be out of gas to be out of gas-with the petcock up front.

I had an issue with the kill switch wire coming off of the front brake-had the wiggle it a little and worked. Other than everything else Tim told you I dont know where else to look. Are your bars painted? If so scrape the paint off under your switches so they ground. Check ground under bike at rectifier??
