A really loose analogy...the coil is like the nozzle you buy for your garden hose, and the CDI is like the cool little wheel that lets you change the way the water comes out (like a shower head, like a fan, all in a stream, etc.).

Er, sort of. Never mind.

Ok I got a little confused. I am 128lbs and I live in an area that is mostly flat but when we go cruising we like to go up into the Irish Hills on US12 witch can be quite hills with lots of curves with make the ride that much better. So would be best to make my 125 kikker go a little faster and give it the ability to keep up with the hubby who is a lend foot and drives a 200 kikker?

Thanks, Mwah's

My 110 seems to run well, but even with the 16t gear, I'm maxing out around 54 mph. I weigh about 140, so something's up.

The Irish Hills area is gorgeous, or was...seems a lot of the businesses along that line have closed up shop, and some homes are falling into disrepair.

Hmm sounds I like need to order one of everything and 9 and I should make a new video. I've been wanting a 29 tooth cdi/coil combo and mikuni. We'll call it Knocking harder...here's how! LOL

KikkerChick
go with a 28 tooth rear, and a k&n style filter. believe it or not these bike like to run a little rich(hot) but it will foul out the plugs faster. I learned this from experimenting, its allot faster and has more power when its just a little on the rich side, but it does really effect the gas mileage, and in the long run will effect the overall life of the engine

groundzero:
regearing is basically changing the primary sprocket to rear sprocket rotation ratio. for example
stock ratio on a 200 is 2.67
this means for every complete rotation of the primary sprocket(front one)
the rear completes 2.67 rotations

I don't understand this. The primary is smaller than the rear sprocket so shoudn't this be the other way around? i.e. 2.67 rotations of the primary to one rotation of the rear sprocket?
