I sent him a PM last month asking him what tank he used on his build. Not only did he respond right away, saying that it was a Sportster 2.3 gal. but he told me he had an extra one and SENT IT TO ME! Not a scratch on it. No rust. Perfect. We'll have to see how it looks on my next build. __________________

I bought a raw Sportster 2.3 gal for my build. All I need to do is drill for the rear mounts. Lookin good.

That was cool of him. I paid $100 for the one I put on the green bike. No petcock,dent in the cap, and it was varnished. What a pain to clean out.

Hope the tank works out for you on your mockup. Seems to work well on most Bobber style bikes.
