I need to know the O.D. of the neck. This is the head where the VIN is stamped. If someone could give the outside dimension of the tube that is used I'd appreciate it.
Thanks in advance...

Looks like he's got a V-twin in there.

The pic is not my build, it's just a good example of what I needed to know all I did was add the arrows.
I did try a search but came up with nothing for the size of the neck tubing.
I just thought one of the guys here knew off hand or could just grab a measurement off one of their bikes.
My plan is to get a pre-order in a 250, it would have been helpful to me to know the OD of the neck in advance.

Why??? The inner diameter so you can see if another front end would fit...the height so you could see if the springer will work...the frame tubing thickness so you can see if a bigger motor will work...we've heard them all....but why the O.D.?

CR Knocker,
Thanks for your time, I would hope the dimension is the same for the production 250 frame.
If I had to tell anyone why I need that neck dimension I'd have to .... ...

OK, here's your OD for the neck... It measured 2 1/16" on my frame. Let's just hope it is the same for the production frames
