Best to take your time and do it right. I got mine in the middle of Jan. and didn't get her done 'till April. Read all the tips and tricks posted here in the forum and avoided a shit load of hassles. Locktite is your friend! Nothing has fallen off yet, but it's just a matter of time

Dave has a good point. I'd still ride any of the 4hr Knocks from Vegas...

Yea, I'm with Dave. After reading about all the possible issues that came up with other knocks, I just fixed it before it broke. Hopefully all that extra work pays off in the long run, as this will be my transportation for the next year while my wife heads off for a training program (with our shared car).

1BadKnock: The breather is just the stock one that I had my local powdercoat guy re-paint for me, along with the fender struts, seat springs, oil can, handlebar clamps, engine mount, and a few other bits. Whenever it comes time to re-build the fork, I want to strip that apart and do all black (maybe with white crowns).

Thanks again to all the tips, tricks, and help on this forum.

Definately looks sharp! Yeah, it took me more than a few hours to put mine together. It's a big help if you have a few extra hands helping with some steps.

I finally got around to making a video... after a long dirty ride through my neighborhood. (can't go too far, as living in St. Louis doesn't lend itself to un-interupted or un-noticed rides)
