And it only took 5 1/2 months, one electrical fire, and re-wiring it from the ground up. But man this thing is fun! Now I've got to get the inspection and title going, insurance, tag... but either way, it feels so damn good to have worked that hard at something, and have that something send you flying down the road. Thanks to all that helped me with my questions and troubles. This forum totally made the difference. I would have bashed my head a lot more if I didn't get help here.

Nice build! Now you need to get it on the road and get some dirt on it. I give those white grips 3 days.

BTW, anyone that puts these things together in a few hours (as advertised) is building one scary ass motorcycle.

Ha ha ha... yea, even just tuning the carb got them dirty. I'm already debating how much I like the cool white grips vs. not having to clean them off.

I suppose I could do much faster a second (or third or fourth) time, but I'm still trying to figure out how I could have done everything that I had to do on this thing in a few hours.

And yea... I'm not planning on wasting 3 hours of ride time with cleaning. They'll either be dirty white grips from here on out, or they'll get changed to something not white.

I personally saw 3 Knocks get built in 4 hours and I would not hesitate to ride either of them. Granted, all the builders were grade A Knockahaulics. They live the Hard Knock Life, literally...
