In reality, this would probably make a good article for The Horse. If you got someone to write about it in a professional way and have plenty of good photos, I'll bet they would buy the story from you guys. It would work into their article we have been promised about the Hardknock build. Also, I would think that Kelly would pony up a little for the publicity, but you have to come at it in a professional way.

Too bad you guys don't have a little more time. You could come up with some really cool tshirts with a good looking logo and have it say something like Support Crew on them and sell them. Take the profits and use it for you ride. People don't mind donating when they get a little something in return, kinda like they do for PBS. Makes them feel like they are part of something.

Yes that is a good name for this run. HNB Run for short.

Coast to Coast Knocking is something that comes to my mind. Seattle coat to the Bay coat you know?

I absolutely totally agree with HFM on every thing he has talked about thus far. We do need to have all those details worked out before we fire up a Knock to go Knocking down the road on this ride.

Spicoli needs to have his Video planed out for each day so it does come to
together in some seance. But then again some of the best films were filmed on a whim?

Looking real good so far.

Not really a thread jack here, but, anyone down for a SoCal to San Fran ride to meet up with the Seattle to San Fran ride at the same time??
All up the 1 and 101? Would be about 550miles from my house... about 500 from LA, anyone? I already nominate Dave (DWSD) to be down! + myself
All combined it would just about be from Mexico to Canada, pretty cool

Since S.F. is the home of Alcatraz Prison, you could call it the "Needle to the Rock Run" Or, The Needle and Rock Run

OK guys sorry enough with the names for the Ride, this was supposed to be a planing thread for our trip. General BS about the ride can be done on the other thread.

Please we have to use this as place for planning. we need to cut down on the clutter.

Thank you

i second that 180 miles a day on day 3 we will need to change our 710, also we need a head count, (more riders requires more$), most of us are poor white boys so we really need to get this part figuered out. i will start a thred for names of the ride and if we can agree on one then yes shirts will be made asap for donations. is that cool with everyone?

Love it!
Next thing to do is find lodging in the areas we stop for the night. I'll work on that, focusing on Camping.

Head count yes
Chime in people.
I'm in!
